Plastic containers are usually thrown out after a single use. By reshaping them into a functional jewellery stand/display I aimed to give them new life and extend the ‘usage’ phase of their product life cycle.

Inspired by ornamental jewelry stands that are often passed down generations because their users foster a personal connection with the object because of its unique design, this project focuses on the emotional value of products.

The curves and floral shape of the stand are based on the curvature of the human body and inspire femininity. Ergonomic considerations such as an unobstructed and rotatable structure create an accessible and efficient design.
