Focused on discursive design and site specificity, this project aims to highlight the effects of human greed on the environment, specifically False Creek (Vancouver).
It is a floor puzzle which the public may interact with, consisting of two images. The underlying image is revealed when the top pieces are lifted. Ethnographic research and prototyping methods were applied to create an easy to understand, smooth interaction.
As people walk by, greed will tempt them to lift the money which is attached to the top pieces of the puzzle. In doing so, they will reveal the image underneath. This interaction symbolizes the effect greed has on the environment, turning a lush scene into barren land.
